I was just messing around with textures and contrast (and wanted to see how dark I can get ;) ).
This was really a challenge to scan! I had to change the contrast of the digitalized picture partly and make the black areas darker without loosing the darker details. But now I´m pretty happy with the result.

Acrylics with brushes on cardboard, ca. 30cm x 40cm (in about 15 hours)

fabulous. i know it's hard to scan anything esp if you have textures, but i guess you did a great job

Oh man, so sweet! The lighting is really dramatic, and the details are really realistically shaded and creepy. The red light works so well, too. Kudos, man, this rules.
