Another small quick painting.

Acrylics on canvas (20 cm x 20 cm) in about 3 hours.

Beautiful. I could spend hours on this, and you call it quick?! ^^;

Thank you!
Well, I usually spend 10 to 30 hours for a painting, so that one was done in a really short time... ;)

....ah. Considering I'd only spend 10 hours maximum at a stretch, that does indeed make me feel small! xD;

he liquidious tree in the distance supplier the rivers with its pale blue ooze, as well as the melting bubble (again a melting bubble) lends a more humid and damp appearence to this enviroment.

I would definatly imagine the green grassland to be spongy.

The odd metallic tower of glowing lights is a sure sign of sci-fi elements.

Hehe, thanks.
Yes, I´ve painted this ;)
The process of creating is always different. Sometimes I choose a topic and think of how to visualize it, that´s a very conscious process, of course. But often I just have some vague visions or pictures in my mind - then I just start to paint and some more ideas come while painting. This one was rather the latter, I think...
