Here's a new painting I've done exclusively for an exhibition (at which I will participate next week along with 20 other artists)
The topic is "Light - fresh paint", so that was the first image that came into my mind :D

Acrylics on canvas, 50cm x 40cm and about 15 hours of work.


I don't like the colours that much, wish I had chosen other ones, but I think the painting turned out well anyway.

And yes, that's exactly my own hand ;)


Edit: I´ve overpainted some additional clouds and mountains in the distance and also changed a detail of the hand (that you might not recognize)

Daily Deviation

painted light by *Acrylicdreams is almost a meta-statement on the artist himself. It is best when one realizes the strongest attention to realism lay actually with things like the fly (leaving the painting of the painting look more like a painting than the overall painting...don't say that too fast or you'll get a migrane). that fly was a nice touch! (despite i hate them)
and i found awesome that those hills (?) look like clouds (at least to me)
