I did this last year in a very unusual way (for me)
I started without any idea with an abstract background and then laid the piece "to rest" for a few days. Then I looked at it and started painting, what came into my mind (and what I thought would fit to the background).
acrylics with brushes on handmade paper in about 7 hours (ha - a "quickie" for me! )
I love all your work SO much..i could just stare at each painting you do for hours @_@
When you paint, do you draw out an outline first? Or do you just paint randomly? You have amazing talent with a brush. Im always excited to see new stuff by you.
Some of your things remind me of Gerald Brom's work [link] ..he's my favorite artist.^__^
whoo this is truly amazing and lovely artwork from ya, I just truly love the colors what you used here, so soft and so lovely for me, and the topic is also soo great!
I just love this apocalyptic-atmosphere really, really really great work!

Very reminiscient of the Heavy Metal comics, as well as the Conan graphic novels. The horridness of the tree itself (some sort of carnivorous plant life? Or demonic entity?) is complimented heavily by the acrid yellow hue of the air. I imagine it to be akin to a terrible bogg or swamp.
Wow - this is an amazing concept and painted incredibly from you imagination

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
