I've painted this for a local art-contest. The Topic was "Reiz und Flut". That means "Stimulus and flood", which makes sense in German, because the german word for sensory overload is "Reizüberflutung" - which you can translate as "flood of stimuli" or "flooding the senses".
I think the topic is more up to date than ever before, so there was no doubt for me that I had to contribute.
On sunday I realised that the deadline for the contest was today, so I had to hurry with that painting (I'm still working on 2 commissions, but they don't have a strict deadline so I could lay them aside for a few days).
I started on monday night and finished the painting today (friday) in the afternoon (it took about 25 hours of painting in total).
